About the Breed
Havanese are affectionate, intelligent, responsive, companionable, playful and gentle.
This breed is hypoallergenic, with a very soft double coat. They weigh between 6-16 pounds, they have a life span of 13-15 years. They come in all the colors of the rainbow.
A well bred Havanese has a laid back temperament and are not a yappy dog. They will let you know when someone is in the yard or at the door. When you acknowledge them they will stop. They don’t snap and growl at small children.
At Lawson Havanese we raise our puppies in our home around our 5 children and my daughters cat. We get them used to car rides and get them set up for easy house training and everyday life. We are located in Caldwell, Idaho and look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for visiting our site.
